How Tour.af collects, uses, and protects your information.
At Tour.af (Tour Afghanistan), we protect personal data in line with applicable privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. Who we are
Tour.af is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: info@tour.af · Phone: +93 70 521 4101
2. Information we collect
- Contact & enquiry data: name, email, phone, travel preferences, and messages you send via forms, WhatsApp, email, or phone.
- Booking details: itinerary needs, group size, dates, and related logistics information.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, and approximate location when you use the site (and, if you accept cookies, analytics identifiers).
- Marketing attribution: campaign parameters (e.g. gclid, UTMs) stored so we can understand how you found us when you enquire.
3. Why we use your data (legal bases)
- Contract / pre-contract: to reply to trip enquiries, prepare quotes, and deliver booked services.
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the site, prevent abuse, and measure essential site performance.
- Consent: for non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, session replay) and optional newsletters. You can withdraw consent anytime.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep records required by law.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies (for example session and CSRF protection) are required for the site to work. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you click Accept on our cookie banner. Choosing Reject keeps non-essential cookies off; we remember that choice for up to 12 months.
If you accept, we may use:
- Google Analytics 4 — traffic and engagement measurement
- Google Ads / Tag Manager — conversion measurement and (where enabled) remarketing
- Microsoft Clarity and/or Contentsquare — session analytics to improve usability (only when configured and after Accept)
Google may process data in the United States under its terms and transfer mechanisms. See also Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with processors and partners needed to run the site or deliver your trip (for example hosting, email, analytics providers you consented to, guides, and lodgings), under appropriate agreements.
6. Retention
Enquiry and booking records are kept as long as needed to handle your trip and for legitimate business or legal retention (typically up to several years for travel records). Analytics data follows each provider’s retention settings. Cookie consent choices are stored for up to 12 months.
7. Your rights (including GDPR)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent for cookies or marketing without affecting prior lawful processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
Email info@tour.af to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
9. Children
Our services are aimed at adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you have read the revised policy.
